FC CANONS's Enio Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torbjörn Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Wik in the 12th minute of the match. Roger Hamberg kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Axel Wall in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torbjörn Axelsson saved FC CANONS from getting behind. After having played for 20 minutes, Robert Ahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinia IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Ahlqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Axel Wall scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torbjörn Axelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the game, Jimmy Blomqvist lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Joachim Dalkvist. Enio Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Dalkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enio Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. Kjell Hägglund hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Olov Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Robert Ahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rinia IF's Markus Wik got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Finnman struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Torbjörn Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinia IF. In the 46th match minute, Rinia IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Wik to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Ahlqvist to make the kick off. Joshua Warren's late challenge caught a FC CANONS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Warren helped the player get up and apologised. Joshua Warren kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Blomqvist in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Dalkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Trigo in the 57th minute of play forced Rinia IF's goalkeeper Joachim Dalkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Axel Wall got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 61st minute, Karl-Axel Wall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Markus Wik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Wik couldn't finish the play. Markus Wik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torbjörn Axelsson having to make a save. Fredrik Finnman might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torbjörn Axelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Finnman ran back to his position shaking his head. Torbjörn Axelsson made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Fredrik Finnman sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Rinia IF's Fredrik Finnman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torbjörn Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Robert Ahlqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torbjörn Axelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Ahlqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in FC CANONS's zone, Robert Ahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Axelsson came out of the goal and Robert Ahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC CANONS's Torbjörn Axelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC CANONS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC CANONS's Wieslaw Dabrowski got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Fritz Spets fired a really elegant long shot, but Torbjörn Axelsson threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC CANONS's goalkeeper Torbjörn Axelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Rinia IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC CANONS throughout the match.
