FC CANONS's Torbjörn Axelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC CANONS from getting a goal against them. Karl-Axel Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Axelsson having to interfere. Joachim Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Blomqvist in the 21st minute of play. If Markus Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Wik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Torbjörn Axelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wieslaw Dabrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Rinia IF's Fredrik Finnman got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joachim Dalkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmy Blomqvist's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Rinia IF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Robert Ahlqvist hit a great ball. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ahlqvist in the 50th minute of play forced FC CANONS's goalkeeper Torbjörn Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Axel Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Torbjörn Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Markus Wik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torbjörn Axelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Karl-Axel Wall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torbjörn Axelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC CANONS's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ahlqvist came free, but Torbjörn Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rinia IF.
