In the 9th minute, Mårten Asmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Niklas Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Flemingsbergs IF's Ragnar Skoog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Pihlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jens-Ola Pihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Holmberg in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Edward Vidman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ola Pihlberg. Romelanda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vidman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jens-Ola Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Skoog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Ragnar Skoog cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jens-Ola Pihlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Romelanda FC defense, Niklas Odén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ola Pihlberg. The Romelanda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ola Pihlberg should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Romelanda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Skoog came free, but Jens-Ola Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Ove Hjälm took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ola Pihlberg. Jens-Ola Pihlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Jens-Ola Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Skoog in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Andreasson was the one to do the kick off. Romelanda FC's Jens-Ola Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Hjälm in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Romelanda FC's Jens-Ola Pihlberg got control of the ball when Niklas Odén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romelanda FC's Jens-Ola Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Hjälm in the 54th minute of play. Jens-Ola Pihlberg made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Niklas Odén sent off a good shot on target. Flemingsbergs IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niklas Odén in the 65th minute. Niklas Odén made a great header on Flemingsbergs IF's corner, it was just that Romelanda FC's Jens-Ola Pihlberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Flemingsbergs IF's Niklas Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Flemingsbergs IF booed when Romelanda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Hjälm in the 71st minute of play forced Romelanda FC's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ola Pihlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Tord Göransson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jens-Ola Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Skoog in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Flemingsbergs IF got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Estevis. Flemingsbergs IF played a much better game than Romelanda FC and deserved their victory. The Romelanda FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
