Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joacim Wiman started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Bergfeldt having to interfere. Sebastian Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Ängelholm FF's Joacim Wiman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertil Jansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Philip Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Carl Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Färila's Bertil Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Wiman in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ängelholm FF's zone, Sebastian Asklöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Bergfeldt came out of the goal and Sebastian Asklöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ängelholm FF's Stig-Arne Dahlberg was substituted for Peder Wennersten. A collision led to Färila getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sebastian Asklöv hit a great ball. After having played for 49 minutes, Carl Ivarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Ivarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arvid Lidman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Joacim Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bertil Jansson made a huge save. Carl Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Ängelholm FF got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Kalafatakis. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sixten Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ängelholm FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Håkansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joacim Wiman came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ängelholm FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Wiman couldn't finish the play. Philip Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sonny Bergfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ängelholm FF played a much better game than Färila and deserved their victory. The Färila players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
