Hardly Fair Play's Sven-Olof Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Nykvist in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hardly Fair Play! After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Valentin Britz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wernamo F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Britz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Andberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krister Smed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Andberg having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Åke Nyman to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jens-Åke Nyman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Wenerdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tony Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Alegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Wernamo F.C's Tony Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Nyman in the 61st minute of play. Tony Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niklas Valler might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Andberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Valler ran back to his position shaking his head. Kennet Löv's late challenge caught a Wernamo F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Löv helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Hardly Fair Play was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Löv to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Jens-Åke Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hardly Fair Play's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Nyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Hardly Fair Play was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Alegren to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Hardly Fair Play's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Andberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niklas Valler. Jens-Åke Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Wenerdahl having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Krister Smed dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Olof Andberg, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Wernamo F.C failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
