The referee ignored Runhällen FK's protests and gave Folke Vacker a yellow card for diving instead. Folke Vacker kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Runhällen FK's Adrian Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Rang in the 9th minute of play. When Felix Rang came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Drunken Sailors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Rang couldn't finish the play. Nuno Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Arvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Rang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Arvidsson having to interfere. Felix Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Adrian Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Nuno Almeida notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Runhällen FK's Adrian Arvidsson. Adrian Arvidsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Felin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Inge Berg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adrian Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Felix Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drunken Sailors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Rang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Felins short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Inge Berg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Kenny Karlsson fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runhällen FK's protests and gave Kenny Karlsson a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Runhällen FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Drunken Sailors. George Lindström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adrian Arvidsson. 0-2. After the first half Drunken Sailors were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Felin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Daniel Felin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Felix Rang took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Adrian Arvidsson to make any attempt to save it. Nuno Almeida struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Adrian Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drunken Sailors. 69 minutes into the match, Drunken Sailors's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Felin came free, but Inge Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Almeida took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Arvidsson. Adrian Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Kenny Karlsson with Kim Billvall as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 77th minute, Felix Rang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Felix Rang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Rang, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Adrian Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Rang in the 89th minute of the match. Inge Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Felin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 101st minute, Nuno Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drunken Sailors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drunken Sailors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
