An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Fågel in the 6th minute of play forced Edguy FC's goalkeeper Sten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Fågel in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Peter Fågel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Tunander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Peter Fågel came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bälinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Fågel couldn't finish the play. Sten Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Fågel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Edguy FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Uno Håkansson hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Edguy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Örtendal came free, but Sten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Peter Fågel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Tunander. Edguy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Fågel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Bälinge's Fred Botvidsson got control of the ball when Joakim Andersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joakim Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Joakim Andersson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Edguy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Andersson couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Fågel during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Edguy FC booed when Bälinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Fågel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Edguy FC's Bertran Fabelo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Nordin in the 36th minute of play forced Edguy FC's goalkeeper Sten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Uno Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Peter Fågel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bälinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Fågel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Björn Hedling scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sten Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Peter Fågel made a precise shot to the right of Sten Tunander. Edguy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Andersson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Greger Nordin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sten Tunander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Örtendal in the 54th minute of play forced Edguy FC's goalkeeper Sten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertran Fabelo in the 55th minute of play forced Bälinge's goalkeeper Fred Botvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bälinge's Peter Fågel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Tunander. That made the score 0-5 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Uno Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sten Tunander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Fågel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 65 minute of play. Edguy FC's Sten Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Fågel in the 69th minute of play. Isak Örtendal scored 0-7 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sten Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Edguy FC's goalkeeper Sten Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Örtendal. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Peter Fågel took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sten Tunander to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the match, Peter Fågel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sten Tunander, 0-9. With a little luck, Edguy FC's Sten Tunander got control of the ball when Mats Strömbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Edguy FC defense, Peter Fågel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Tunander. The Edguy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Tunander should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Edguy FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anders Petersson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sten Tunander was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Peter Fågel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Fågel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Sten Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Örtendal in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match, Greger Nordin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sten Tunander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sten Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Fågel in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Greger Nordin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Tunander. The goal made the score 0-12. Bälinge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
