The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Michael Pilblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. Green Mint FC 2010's Alfons Rosendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Pilblad in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Pilblad in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Rosendal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Bo Sundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfons Rosendal. Green Mint FC 2010's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo Sundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bo Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfons Rosendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bastuträsk booed when Green Mint FC 2010 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Dalström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfons Rosendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Pilblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Michael Pilblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Green Mint FC 2010 got a freekick which was hit by Fred Dalström. In the 31st minute, Bengt-Arne Bergström made a precise shot to the right of Rune Kielstedt. Bastuträsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Fred Dalström fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Mint FC 2010's protests and gave Fred Dalström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Fred Dalström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Rosendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Pilblad in the 40th minute of play. Michael Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Michael Pilblad came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bastuträsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Pilblad couldn't finish the play. Bo Sundström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfons Rosendal firmly grabbed it by the left post.

The wind increased when Per Torsberg made the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rune Kielstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Michael Pilblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Per Torsberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Kielstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Bergström got free with Rune Kielstedt in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Bo Sundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bo Sundström took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Rosendal. Alfons Rosendal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Michael Pilblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alfons Rosendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
