The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmund Dahlquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Torpsbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. The coaching staff of Silverdalen IFK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sigvard Ingvall had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Torpsbruk's Joel Arvidsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gunnar Odman. In the 78th match minute, Silverdalen IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Torpsbruk's Edmund Dahlquist made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Odman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torpsbruk's Edmund Dahlquist got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverdalen IFK's Gunnar Odman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Silverdalen IFK from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Håkan Stenquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Torpsbruk booed when Silverdalen IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Silverdalen IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Torpsbruk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
