Rudolf Arvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Ennegren's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Mårten Kollberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rikard Lång made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sixten Sandell FF's zone, Christian Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Arvidsson came out of the goal and Christian Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Arvidsson having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Christian Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Månstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Ennegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sixten Sandell FF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Emanuel Lundström hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lars Isaksson sped through Sixten Sandell FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rudolf Arvidsson. Kenneth Snäll hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sixten Sandell FF's Sven-Arne Jansson tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wilhelm Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Lång having to interfere. Mårten Kollberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Isaksson in the 45th minute of play.

With a little luck, Sixten Sandell FF's Rudolf Arvidsson got control of the ball when Lars Isaksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Ennegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rudolf Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixten Sandell FF's Wilhelm Isaksson got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wilhelm Isaksson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sixten Sandell FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Isaksson couldn't finish the play. Rikard Lång took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes Månstad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Arne Jansson who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sixten Sandell FF's corner Sven-Arne Jansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rikard Lång quite easily take care of the ball. Christian Ennegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudolf Arvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Ennegren ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Mårten Kollberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Månstad's Rikard Lång. Rikard Lång was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
