When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jim Ingemarsson sped through Bergvik IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peder Håkansson. Peder Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Kellberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lessebo IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergvik IFK the free kick. Vilhelm Kellberg hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Peder Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Kellberg in the 34th minute of play. Alex Rudqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Staffan Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Lessebo IFK's Jim Ingemarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peder Håkansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bergvik IFK's Peder Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Kellberg in the 44th minute of play. Jim Ingemarsson struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Peder Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lessebo IFK. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Rudqvist was the one to do the kick off. Peder Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Ingemarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Marcus Hedkvist's late challenge caught a Lessebo IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Hedkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Bergvik IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Hedkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Jim Ingemarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
