Månstad's Rikard Lång played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Ingemarsson in the 6th minute of play. Tommy Hjälm's late challenge caught a Månstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Hjälm helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Lessebo IFK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Hjälm. Staffan Petersson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ture Gulliksson. Tommy Hjälm hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Månstad's Ture Gulliksson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Staffan Petersson but with some difficulty. Månstad's Rikard Lång played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Kellberg in the 12th minute of play. Rikard Lång showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Ingemarsson in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jim Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lessebo IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Ingemarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Lång breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Månstad's Ture Gulliksson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lessebo IFK. After a defensive mix-up in Månstad's zone, Tommy Hjälm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Lång came out of the goal and Tommy Hjälm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rikard Lång took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christian Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Ennegren in the 28th minute of play. Lessebo IFK's Jim Ingemarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Kellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Lång having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Ingemarsson in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rikard Lång prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes of play, Lessebo IFK's Jim Ingemarsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rikard Lång was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Vilhelm Kellberg made a precise shot to the right of Rikard Lång. Månstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilhelm Kellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vilhelm Kellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Månstad's Christian Ennegren got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lessebo IFK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anton Eckegren hit a great ball. Vilhelm Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jim Ingemarsson came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Lessebo IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Ingemarsson couldn't finish the play. Jim Ingemarsson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rikard Lång didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lessebo IFK. In the 85thth minute of the game Vilhelm Kellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Månstad's Rikard Lång was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per-Erik Bocklund hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Vilhelm Kellberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Månstad's zone, Vilhelm Kellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Lång came out of the goal and Vilhelm Kellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Lessebo IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Eckegren to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Månstad's Konrad Kiempe got a free kick in the 94th minute. Olle Danielsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
