An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Kollberg in the 5th minute of play forced Bergvik IFK's goalkeeper Peder Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Mårten Kollberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sixten Sandell FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mårten Kollberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sixten Sandell FF getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Wilhelm Isaksson hit a great ball. Sven-Edvin Bure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Håkansson having to interfere. Alex Rudqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Sixten Sandell FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Rudqvist came free, but Rudolf Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Bergvik IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Isaksson came free, but Peder Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isac Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixten Sandell FF's Rudolf Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sixten Sandell FF from getting a goal against them. Isac Hellström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Rudolf Arvidsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Rudqvist in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Arvidsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Isaksson made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Bergvik IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Isaksson came free, but Peder Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peder Håkansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isac Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixten Sandell FF's Rudolf Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Rudqvist in the 66th minute of play. When Emanuel Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sixten Sandell FF's protests and gave Emanuel Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Bergvik IFK. Mikael Myhr stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rudolf Arvidsson. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Isac Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergvik IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Albert Pilblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergvik IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sixten Sandell FF the free kick. 76 minutes into the game, one of Bergvik IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute of the game, Sixten Sandell FF got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Isac Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rudolf Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Bure's late challenge caught a Bergvik IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Bure helped the player get up and apologised. Sixten Sandell FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
