Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Sixten Sandell FF's Wilhelm Isaksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Lundström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sixten Sandell FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Sixten Sandell FF:s Rudolf Arvidsson showed great skill when he stopped André Bergman:s penalty. Mårten Kollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonny Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Markusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Arvidsson having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Bure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolf Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Ljungberg in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Casper Ljungberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilafors's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Ljungberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Casper Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Måns Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Drewitz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sixten Sandell FF's Mårten Kollberg. But to his dismay, Mårten Kollberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kilafors's Måns Markusson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Måns Markusson made a kick off. Walter Salqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Mårten Kollberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonny Drewitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 61st minute, Ulf Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Sven-Arne Jansson from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Jonny Drewitz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Mårten Kollberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sixten Sandell FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mårten Kollberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Drewitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Ljungberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Markusson in the 69th minute of play forced Sixten Sandell FF's goalkeeper Rudolf Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Mårten Kollberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Måns Markusson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Kilafors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Markusson couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Sixten Sandell FF's Mårten Kollberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Drewitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Sixten Sandell FF booed when Kilafors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Tinglöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mårten Kollberg scored 0-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonny Drewitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sixten Sandell FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
