Robert Hansson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Hansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robert Hansson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Kristian Kleen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Smed, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Max Almstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes, Karl Möller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lövhögen IF and the Älandsbro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karl Möller kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Lövhögen IF's Sivert Borre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Almstedt in the 32nd minute of play. Sivert Borre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Bergqvist in the 33rd minute of the match. If Tony Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes in the game, Leonard Willig dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lövhögen IF's Leonard Willig saw an opening behind the goalie Håkan Söderberg in the 43rdth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Håkan Söderberg with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. Lövhögen IF's Leonard Willig got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Willig was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Lövhögen IF's goalkeeper Sivert Borre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Bergqvist. Älandsbro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stig Smed in the 63rd minute. The corner led Älandsbro's Max Almstedt to fire away a dangerous shot which Sivert Borre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Karl Möller hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Bergqvist got free with Sivert Borre in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 79 minutes, Max Almstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älandsbro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Almstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Lövhögen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Beck to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderberg having to interfere. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Willig in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Älandsbro's Göran Ahlqvist got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Karl Hake sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Älandsbro's Håkan Söderberg didn't even have to move. Sebastian Bergqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Sivert Borre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lövhögen IF had won after a very even match.
