Spectators: 7285 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bertil Sjögren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vagnhärad IK's Daniel Anselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Sjödin in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KG United's zone, Joar Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Wallin came out of the goal and Joar Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Anselius came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by KG United's Alfons Mager. But to his dismay, Alfons Mager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Joar Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vilhelm Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfons Mager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joar Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jens-Åke Blomquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Vagnhärad IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Collin to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Hans Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Sjögren's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Joar Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Wallin having to interfere. Daniel Anselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vagnhärad IK's Daniel Anselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Vagnhärad IK from getting a goal against them. Vilhelm Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Lind in the 35th minute of the match. Joar Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 minutes, Kaj Wahlström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vagnhärad IK and the KG United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vagnhärad IK's Kaj Wahlström got a free kick in the 40th minute. KG United's Vilhelm Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Lind in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Sjödin to make the kick off. Daniel Anselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Åberg in the 55th minute of play. Vilhelm Wallin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertil Sjögren went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 68 played minutes KG United got a freekick which was hit by Linus Gallberg. Bernt Collin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilhelm Wallin. KG United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Joar Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilhelm Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, KG United's goal looked a bit too open when Joar Lind came free, but Vilhelm Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bertil Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vagnhärad IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KG United's Vilhelm Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Sjögren in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Vagnhärad IK defense, David Sjödin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Anselius. The Vagnhärad IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Anselius should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Bernt Collin in the 92nd minute really tested Vilhelm Wallin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Urban Bergqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilhelm Wallin skillfully saved the ball.
