A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Truppen FC booed when Meltington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Törnqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Truppen FC's Niklas Berglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Truppen FC from getting a goal against them. If Emil Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Emil Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meltington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Söderqwist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Meltington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Svensson to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Rickard Sundberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Vesterberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Rolf Vidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Ahlrot charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Ahlrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Tommy Ahlrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Söderqwist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Meltington FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Rickard Sundberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Rolf Vidman might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niklas Berglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolf Vidman ran back to his position shaking his head. Kim Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Rolf Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meltington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Vidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Vidman in the 63rd minute of play forced Truppen FC's goalkeeper Niklas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Berglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Söderqwist's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes, Elliott Törnqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meltington FC and the Truppen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Meltington FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Elliott Törnqvist hit a great ball. Herman Mikaelssons short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Sebastian Vesterberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th match minute, Meltington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Juhlin to maneuver through the defense. Kim Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kim Axelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Vesterberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Axelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Meltington FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Kim Axelsson scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Vesterberg, making the score, 0-1. The Truppen FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Truppen FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
