Staffan Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Lustig, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Herbert Nord came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Hälleforsnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Nord couldn't finish the play. If Herbert Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Herbert Nord came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Hälleforsnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Nord couldn't finish the play. Edwin Beckström kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Jens-Ove Örtendal came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Moholm IFK fans jumped to their feet. Edwin Beckström's late challenge caught a Moholm IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Hälleforsnäs got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Alén. Hälleforsnäs's Vilhelm Boklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Kilberg in the 39th minute of play. Staffan Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Nord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Jens-Ove Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moholm IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Örtendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sakarias Lustig made a kick off. Staffan Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Nord struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Staffan Smefeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hälleforsnäs. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilhelm Boklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Moholm IFK's Staffan Smefeldt got control of the ball when Herbert Nord tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 played minutes Hälleforsnäs got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Forsell.
