Staffan Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Dick Kilberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Konrad Eriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Smefeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Arman Hurtig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arman Hurtig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Staffan Smefeldt having to make a save. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Mbappe's goalkeeper Robert Pedersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arman Hurtig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Smefeldt having to interfere. The supporters of Moholm IFK booed when Les Mbappe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Les Mbappe's Robert Pedersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Örtendal in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Arman Hurtig made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Moholm IFK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Gunnarsson. The corner led Les Mbappe's Sune Lindholm to fire away a dangerous shot which Staffan Smefeldt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Örtendal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Pedersson. Les Mbappe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Örtendal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Konrad Erikssons short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Staffan Smefeldt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dick Kilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Robert Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gustaf Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robert Pedersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Moholm IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Hurtig came free, but Staffan Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arman Hurtig struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Staffan Smefeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Mbappe. Bengt-Åke Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Staffan Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Urban Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Moholm IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Les Mbappe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
