Tord Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Morgan Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orvar Lööf's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Gunnar Markusson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Caligula's Morgan Örn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Botvidsson in the 8th minute of play. A hard shot by Sven-Arne Sjöström from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Gunnar Markusson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Otto Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Markusson having to interfere. In the 20th minute Frans Botvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Örn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Örn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Botvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Morgan Örn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Jönsson in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonatan Eriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Eriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Caligula got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Eriksson. After a rather tough play, Caligula's Leo Vedholm got a free kick in the 26th minute. Morgan Örn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Botvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Aleksander Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gunnar Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Käller to strike the kick off in the second half. Orvar Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Markusson having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Hedemora RK got a freekick which was hit by Roy Håkansson. 61 minutes into the game, one of Hedemora RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Caligula. Gustav Lundqvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gunnar Markusson. 1-0. If Orvar Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Otto Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Markusson was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Hedemora RK got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Alebäck. The supporters of Caligula booed when Hedemora RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Markusson came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Caligula's Orvar Lööf. But to his dismay, Orvar Lööf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Otto Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hedemora RK's goalkeeper Gunnar Markusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Caligula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Sjöström to maneuver through the defense. Otto Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orvar Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caligula had played much better football throughout.
