Lennart Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Påk, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Bengt-Åke Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lennart Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bengt-Åke Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol kulübü Celep's zone, Torsten Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Berg came out of the goal and Torsten Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Rudberg charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Rudberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Påk in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Berg saved Futbol kulübü Celep from getting behind. When Torsten Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kungshamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Hellström couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Påk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Berg having to interfere. If Torsten Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol kulübü Celep's zone, Bengt-Åke Påk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Berg came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Påk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Torsten Hellström struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lennart Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kungshamn. Torsten Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lennart Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Torsten Hellström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kungshamn and the Futbol kulübü Celep players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Torsten Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Torsten Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Torsten Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Smed in the 95th minute of play forced Kungshamn's goalkeeper Ove Siggesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Påk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Lennart Berg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kungshamn played a much better game than Futbol kulübü Celep and deserved their victory. The Futbol kulübü Celep players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
