Greger Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Fogel in the 15th minute of play. Leif Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Willig in the 23rd minute of play forced Stora Höga BK's goalkeeper Roger Karlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leif Fogel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greger Markusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Leif Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stora Höga BK booed when Ekhögens IS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pelle Willig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Roger Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stora Höga BK's Roger Karlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Stora Höga BK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Strömberg in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greger Markusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Ekhögens IS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stora Höga BK were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Strömberg made a kick off. Christian Strömberg had several of the Ekhögens IS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Greger Markusson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leif Fogel struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Greger Markusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stora Höga BK. After a defensive mix-up in Ekhögens IS's zone, Einar Göransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greger Markusson came out of the goal and Einar Göransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Fogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Greger Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ekhögens IS's Pelle Willig got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Fogel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greger Markusson having to make a save. With a little luck, Ekhögens IS's Greger Markusson got control of the ball when Leif Fogel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leif Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stora Höga BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Fogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greger Markusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
