Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rickard Tomasson kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Rickard Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekhögens IS's Greger Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Wästerberg in the 10th minute of play. Greger Markusson came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Pistoleros FC's Verner Wästerberg. But to his dismay, Verner Wästerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Pistoleros FC's Verner Wästerberg in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ekhögens IS's goalie prevented a goal. Rickard Tomasson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Greger Markusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pistoleros FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bengt-Åke Kråk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekhögens IS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Åke Kråk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Lundkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pistoleros FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pär Simonsson hit a great ball. Rickard Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Verner Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ekhögens IS's Göran Sandberg got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Örjan Ekelund hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gösta Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Kråk in the 56th minute of play. Gösta Lundkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Kråk in the 60th minute of the match. When Rickard Tomasson in the 63rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Greger Markusson kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gösta Lundkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Willig in the 66th minute of the match. Verner Wästerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Greger Markusson made a huge save. Rickard Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ekhögens IS's Greger Markusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ekhögens IS from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Bengt-Åke Kråk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekhögens IS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Kråk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Pelle Willig made a precise shot to the right of Gösta Lundkvist. Pistoleros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Pelle Willig struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gösta Lundkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekhögens IS. Pelle Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Rickard Tomasson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Greger Markusson, 2-4. After having played for 92 minutes, Charles Bergfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pistoleros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Bergfelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Hedlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Greger Markusson. Ekhögens IS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Pistoleros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pistoleros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
