Alvin Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Glad having to make a save. Folke Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Svensson went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Svensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lyrestad getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Folke Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Svensson in the 60th minute of the match. If Alvin Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ian Hägert managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Hägert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Kleen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Hägert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Kleen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Evert Kaxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Kleen was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Kurt Axelsson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Ian Hägert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Glad having to interfere. In the 91st minute Jonas Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
