Marc Igelström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Holger Kleen. Lyrestad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Olof Lundqvist in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Kleen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 minutes of play, Heroes of the Storm's Gabriel Nilsson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Kleen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13thth minute of the game Per-Olof Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyrestad's Holger Kleen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Holger Kleen managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Heroes of the Storm's Gabriel Nilsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joseph Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Alvin Sundström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heroes of the Storm's Joseph Tolsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Holger Kleen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heroes of the Storm. After 27 played minutes Lyrestad got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Sjöman. In the 28thth minute of the game Per-Olof Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyrestad's Holger Kleen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonas Svensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Tolsson was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Jonas Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Tolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Gabriel Hansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lyrestad getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Per-Arne Lind hit a great ball. Holger Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Jonas Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to Heroes of the Storm's Gabriel Nilsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Per-Olof Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Holger Kleen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Heroes of the Storm's Gabriel Hansson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heroes of the Storm's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per-Arne Lind was slow to take the kick. During this time Lyrestad's players had a chance to rest. When Alvin Sundström came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Lyrestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Sundström couldn't finish the play. Jonas Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Joseph Tolsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyrestad's Jan-Olof Sjöström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joseph Tolsson but with some difficulty. When Alvin Sundström came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Lyrestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Sundström couldn't finish the play. Tobias Sjöman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jonas Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Alvin Sundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Heroes of the Storm's goalkeeper Joseph Tolsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvin Sundström. If Alvin Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyrestad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
