Christer Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Kilberg in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ian Hägert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Högberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Glad having to interfere. Ted Trulsson succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 31st match minute, IFK Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Britz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Floating FC's Ted Trulsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Folke Glad. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

IFK Barcelona's Folke Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Högberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Ian Hägert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ted Trulsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Glad having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, IFK Barcelona's Ian Hägert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Löv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ted Trulsson scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Glad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Löv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Hägert in the 75th minute. Ian Hägert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Löv having to interfere. Tage Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Barcelona's zone, Ted Trulsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Glad came out of the goal and Ted Trulsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
