The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Börje Nordmark kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of The Zone booed when FC Pixerium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Alfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Asserlindh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvin Sigman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Alfors went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 21 minutes in the game, Frank Asserlindh fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alvin Sigman having to interfere. A collision led to The Zone getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Börje Nordmark hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Dahlkvist during the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, The Zone's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frank Asserlindh fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 29 minutes into the match, The Zone's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Alfors came free, but Alvin Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Fred Alfors reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvin Sigman. The goal made the score 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, The Zone's goalkeeper Alvin Sigman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Asserlindh. After 38 minutes, Börje Nordmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Zone and the FC Pixerium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Zone's Börje Nordmark got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Alfors in the 45th minute of play forced The Zone's goalkeeper Alvin Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fred Alfors came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Pixerium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Alfors couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Alfors stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute, Frank Asserlindh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Fred Alfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tage Kjellbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Ove Enegren. That made the score 5-1 in the 79 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, The Zone's Tage Kjellbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Enegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Asserlindh in the 86th minute of play forced The Zone's goalkeeper Alvin Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Alfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Herbert Kjellqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvin Sigman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fred Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Sigman having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Fred Alfors notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of The Zone's Alvin Sigman. Alvin Sigman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the FC Pixerium players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
