Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eric Berglund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kevin Askestät made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Olofsson in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hällekis defense, Ingvar Lindell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Askestät. The Hällekis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Askestät should have stopped the shot. Kennet Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kevin Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Askestät having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Hällekis got a freekick which was hit by Eric Berglund. If Kennet Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Håkan Påk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kennet Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Askestät having to interfere. Jörn Alén might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Åke Lövskog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörn Alén ran back to his position shaking his head. Reaktor Göteborg's Nils-Åke Lövskog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Reaktor Göteborg from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Reaktor Göteborg's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Lövskog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Berglund. 38 minutes into the match, Håkan Påk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Åke Lövskog. Reaktor Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Påk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Lindell was the one to do the kick off. Kevin Askestät made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kennet Olofsson in the 54th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Kennet Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reaktor Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Berglund during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hällekis getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eric Berglund hit a great ball. Ingvar Lindell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kevin Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Tom Myr managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Jörn Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Påk hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Nils-Åke Lövskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Alén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Nilsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Reaktor Göteborg's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Lövskog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Siöman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Kevin Askestät made a huge save. With a little luck, Hällekis's Kevin Askestät got control of the ball when Kennet Olofsson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
