Tor Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Frisck having to interfere. Tor Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bengt-Åke Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Tor Finsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalix's Bengt-Åke Frisck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt-Åke Frisck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Bergqvist in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Sten Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mobyn United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalix the free kick. Vidar Gullesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Osvald Billström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vidar Gullesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hans Olofsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidar Gullesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When Osvald Billström fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalix's protests and gave Osvald Billström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mobyn United booed when Kalix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Leonardo Söderkvists short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Vidar Gullesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Johnny Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bengt-Åke Frisck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mobyn United. Leonardo Söderkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidar Gullesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Hans Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mobyn United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kristoffer Skräddare hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Hans Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mobyn United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hans Olofsson 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Mobyn United's zone, Leonardo Söderkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Gullesson came out of the goal and Leonardo Söderkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mobyn United getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alvar Nordström hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hans Olofsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vidar Gullesson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Bengt-Åke Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Finsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leonardo Söderkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Kalix left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mobyn United.
