The tension between the Bromma IK and the Furudal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute Niclas Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ekgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viggo Wästerberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Bromma IK got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Wästerberg. Fabian Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Bromma IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Vall to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Fabian Runberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ekgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Bromma IK's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Runberg came free, but Jonas Ekgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bromma IK's zone, Niclas Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Ekgren came out of the goal and Niclas Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Fabian Runberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Rolf Hamberg made a precise shot to the right of Magnus Lundin. Furudal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 67 minutes into the match, Bromma IK's goalkeeper Jonas Ekgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Mårtensson. Magnus Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Valler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonas Ekgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Fabian Runberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonas Ekgren. Fabian Runberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Fabian Runberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furudal's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Runberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Ekgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfons Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 102nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Furudal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Furudal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
