Linus Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Stor in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Axel Forssberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mancheider United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Alf Hansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Magnus Dalgren. That made the score 2-2 in the 33 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Erland Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mancheider United's Kaj Stor got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Jens-Ove Holmberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magnus Dalgren skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Stor to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kaj Stor notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Hållsta FK's Linus Söderberg. Linus Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Magnus Dalgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Hansson's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Hållsta FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Hansson to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Hållsta FK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Hansson. Magnus Dalgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frans Brenner in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magnus Dalgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Frans Brenner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Dalgren was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Alex Fernkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Stor in the 94th minute of play forced Hållsta FK's goalkeeper Linus Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mancheider United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
