Manchester kavaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Östman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Lång breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludwig Persson's late challenge caught a Ljungby IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Persson helped the player get up and apologised. Ludwig Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Harry Boman came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungby IK's Petter Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Petter Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ronny Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Boman having to interfere. A collision led to Ljungby IK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tobias Wallander hit a great ball. If Jan-Åke Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Wallander was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tobias Wallander kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Sven-Ove Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Lång saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Jan-Åke Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester kavaj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungby IK the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petter Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. Kurt Lång showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Östman in the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Ljungby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Tholsson came free, but Kurt Lång reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester kavaj's Ludwig Persson got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Manchester kavaj got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Gadd. In the 61st minute, Tobias Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungby IK. Kurt Lång showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Östman, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A very good chance. The Manchester kavaj supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ljungby IK's performance. The match ended with a win for Ljungby IK.
