Agne Browall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Björkqvist having to interfere. When FC kopplas's Agne Browall in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Furuby IF's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Furuby IF's goalkeeper Alexander Björkqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börge Hedlund. After 45 played minutes FC kopplas got a freekick which was hit by Börge Hedlund. After a defensive mix-up in FC kopplas's zone, Bo-Erik Hurtig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Nordstedt came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Hurtig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alexander Björkqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Browall in the 52nd minute of the match. Bertil Nordstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo-Erik Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alexander Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Bo-Erik Hurtig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertil Nordstedt. FC kopplas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo-Erik Hurtig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Furuby IF booed when FC kopplas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingemar Östlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Björkqvist. Furuby IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Bo-Erik Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Browall might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Björkqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agne Browall ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute Jan Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Agne Browall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC kopplas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Browall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Börge Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alexander Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Furuby IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
