Per-Olof Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Deckberg went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the game, Maria Sportverein's Göran Deckberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Olof Andersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Per-Olof Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The wind increased when Daniel Blomqvist made the kick off in the second half. Göran Deckberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Olof Andersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göran Deckberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Göran Deckberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Per-Olof Andersson made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Blomqvist in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Olof Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaj Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Runeberg having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Maria Sportverein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Pilgren to maneuver through the defense. Maria Sportverein's Johannes Runeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Sjöberg in the 61st minute of play. Göran Deckberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Andersson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Brandin in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Runeberg saved Maria Sportverein from getting behind. Daniel Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Smulan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Blomqvist came free, but Per-Olof Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Smulan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Asserlind to maneuver through the defense. Maria Sportverein's Daniel Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Smulan BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maria Sportverein's performance. The match ended with a win for Maria Sportverein.
