Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sture Hasselqvist made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Lödöse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Örtlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Mcub FC were awarded a corner. Carl Tunström went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mcub FC's corner Carl Tunström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mikael Boklund quite easily take care of the ball. Sten Nordgren charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sten Nordgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Lödöse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. When Henning Sundén came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Lödöse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henning Sundén couldn't finish the play. Sture Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Lödöse's Sören Benet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krister Winström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Benet in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krister Winström saved Mcub FC from getting behind. After 38 played minutes Lödöse got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Bergqvist. If Carl Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sten Nordgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Sundén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krister Winström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Sture Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mikael Boklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sören Benet made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Sture Hasselqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mcub FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sture Hasselqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes of play, Lödöse's Sören Benet made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krister Winström was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ludwig Enström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lödöse's Henning Sundén got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sören Benet took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krister Winström. Krister Winström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lödöse's Henning Sundén got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Lödöse's Mikael Boklund got control of the ball when Ludwig Enström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sören Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Krister Winström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Erik Örtlund's late challenge caught a Mcub FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Erik Örtlund helped the player get up and apologised. Sven-Erik Örtlund hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Mcub FC got a corner. Lödöse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carl Tunström ran over to the corner to take the kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mcub FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lödöse.
