Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5527, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivar Kilberg started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Jan Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jan Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dial Square F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Dalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viggo Wållander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dial Square F.C.'s attentive Rafael Franco managed to snatch the ball when Gunnar Lustig made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Norrköping Boys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivar Kilberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Dial Square F.C.'s Jan Dalman in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 16th minute, Ivar Kilberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Vilgot Bäckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Patrichi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Kilberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viggo Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dalman in the 37th minute of the match. Viggo Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Dalman in the 42nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Sven-Olof Apelkvist put in a rough tackle. In the 48th match minute, Dial Square F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jan Dalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Wållander having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Tommy Björklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dial Square F.C. and the Norrköping Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Björklund hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Konrad Lindqvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Vilgot Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Dial Square F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Svante Lundberg. In the 88th minute Jan Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Groth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Dalman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Viggo Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Dial Square F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. Norrköping Boys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
