An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Stenman in the 34th minute of play forced Bazinga FC's goalkeeper Dennis Skytt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Jönsätt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Möller having to interfere. In the 48th minute Ian Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Skytt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertil Landin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fritsla's goalkeeper Jan Möller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carl Bäckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dennis Skytt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Stenman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ian Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. Carl Bäckman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Skytt having to make a save. If Sonny Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Fritsla's Jan Möller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Ekegren in the 89th minute of play. A hard shot 93 in the game by Carl Bäckman from a close distance when the talented Dennis Skytt managed to make a qualified save. Bazinga FC's players were relieved. Bertil Landin might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Möller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Landin ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
