Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Fors started the match with the kick off. Robert Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes Tåget BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernt Eriksson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bernt Eriksson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Löfkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Kullander during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eslöv booed when Tåget BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Kullander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Albert Fors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eslöv's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Fors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Löfkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 16 minutes, Tomas Gregersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eslöv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Gregersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, Eslöv's Tomas Gregersson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Löfkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Tåget BK's Robert Löfkvist got control of the ball when Tomas Gregersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Löfkvist having to interfere. Leif Pedersson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ian Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tåget BK. Robert Löfkvist was a little too slow when Albert Fors got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Patrik Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Pedersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bernt Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Wallmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Pedersson in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Åström saved Eslöv from getting behind. Leif Pedersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Åström having to interfere. Robert Löfkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Fors in the 64th minute of play. Patrik Eklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Löfkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Eklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Gregersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Fors couldn't finish the play. Dick Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ian Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Dick Hansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eslöv fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tåget BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
