In the 18th match minute, ZypRo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Fristedt to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Hindås defense, Bo Fristedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Stenkvist. The Hindås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Stenkvist should have stopped the shot. Bo Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Stenkvist having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Hindås's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Forss came free, but Kjell Stenkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite this Kjell Stenkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Fristedt to make the kick off. Gösta Bergsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Stenkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Bergsten ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hindås's Roger Göransson got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 68th minute, Isaac Ekström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hindås's Kjell Stenkvist didn't even have to move. Although ZypRo FC had been in control for most of the match, Hindås still came away with the win.
