Sven-Åke Larsfält might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pär Månsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Åke Larsfält ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Valsta FF's zone, Jens-Ove Smed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Månsson came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Smed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Erik Ahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bengt Wester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nicklas Vall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valsta FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicklas Vall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Wester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ove Smed made a kick off. Isac Pettersson got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Valsta FF booed when Grebo Rhinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Wester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Grebo Rhinos's Bengt Wester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Grebo Rhinos from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
