Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Åke Lindmark kicked off to start the match. Åke Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Kråk having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Åke Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Smek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Lindmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hampus Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Finman having to interfere. Hampus Ekegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pelle Finman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Bergfelt's late challenge caught a Hammarby IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvar Bergfelt helped the player get up and apologised. Pelle Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Berggren in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute, Hammarby IF's Hampus Ekegren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Carl Ahlqvist placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hampus Ekegren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Pelle Finman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pelle Finman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Finman having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Berggren in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pelle Finman saved FC Smek from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konrad Berggren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Konrad Berggren succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when FC Smek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Ahlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Ahlqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pelle Finman. FC Smek's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Konrad Berggren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pelle Finman. FC Smek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konrad Berggren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Åke Lindmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pelle Finman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Berggren's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Konrad Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Hammarby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Berggren couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Smek defense, Konrad Berggren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pelle Finman. The FC Smek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pelle Finman should have stopped the shot. If Hampus Ekegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pelle Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Ekegren in the 84th minute of play. Konrad Berggren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrik Vester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, FC Smek's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Berggren came free, but Pelle Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hammarby IF's Hampus Ekegren got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
