Josef Hök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Käcker having to interfere. Alvin Grönberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eskil Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Hök in the 27th minute of play forced Dahlia IF's goalkeeper Eskil Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Käcker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Grönberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Alvin Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulrik Rang fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 39th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mårten Månsson made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Örtendal made a great header on SydFF's corner, it was just that Dahlia IF's Eskil Käcker managed to reach the ball for a save. If Alvin Grönberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, SydFF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Rang came free, but Svante Algren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Algren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Månsson in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dahlia IF's Mårten Månsson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eskil Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Grönberg in the 65th minute of play. Dahlia IF's Ulrik Rang got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
