Totte Gnottarna's Marcus Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Granberg in the 3rd minute of play. Christian Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Botvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Granberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Dag Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marcus Botvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Söderberg in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Totte Gnottarna's zone, Christian Granberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Botvidsson came out of the goal and Christian Granberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmy Alströmmer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Alexander Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Sundström having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Bajen Grabbarna FC got a freekick which was hit by Calle Fredriksson. 34 minutes into the match, Totte Gnottarna's Brian Hjortsberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. George Melberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alexander Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ingvar Björnberg fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajen Grabbarna FC's protests and gave Ingvar Björnberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Ingvar Björnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bajen Grabbarna FC's Alexander Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bajen Grabbarna FC from getting a goal against them. George Melberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Sundström having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dag Söderberg to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Ström in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Sundström saved Bajen Grabbarna FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Ström in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 57th minute of the match Calle Fredriksson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Calle Fredriksson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Calle Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rutger Bollström's late challenge caught a Bajen Grabbarna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutger Bollström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Totte Gnottarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Bollström to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Totte Gnottarna's Marcus Botvidsson got control of the ball when Dag Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Melberg in the 71st minute of play. Håkan Wallander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game George Melberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bajen Grabbarna FC's Alexander Sundström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Granberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Bajen Grabbarna FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 85th minute, one of Totte Gnottarna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Totte Gnottarna. 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 87 played minutes, when Bajen Grabbarna FC:s Andreas Rudqvist calmly waited for Totte Gnottarna:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. George Melberg struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alexander Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Totte Gnottarna.
