The tension between the FC DonKingen and the Blattnicksele IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Blom having to interfere. The supporters of Blattnicksele IFK booed when FC DonKingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Jernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Blattnicksele IFK's Marcus Nordin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Villiam Blom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blattnicksele IFK reached it. A collision led to FC DonKingen getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mikael Stenquist hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC DonKingen's zone, Marcus Pilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Villiam Blom came out of the goal and Marcus Pilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC DonKingen's Villiam Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Pilberg in the 20th minute of play. Rudolf Stenman struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sven-Oskar Bäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC DonKingen. Rudolf Stenman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sven-Oskar Bäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Bäck having to interfere. Sven-Oskar Bäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Skytt in the 29th minute of the match. Marcus Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Blom having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Stenman got free with Sven-Oskar Bäck in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alf Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villiam Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Pilberg in the 46th minute of play. If Marcus Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Pilberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Villiam Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Pilberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Bäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Valentin Fogel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Marcus Pilberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Villiam Blom to make any attempt to save it. Villiam Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Erik Qvarnström in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, FC DonKingen's Mikael Stenquist got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 76th minute Marcus Pilberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, FC DonKingen's goalkeeper Villiam Blom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Fogel. FC DonKingen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcus Pilberg 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 86th minute Alf Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Bäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Jernberg charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Jernberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, FC DonKingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Jernberg to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Blattnicksele IFK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
