Gunnar Alebeck started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Hugo Granqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carl Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andréas Kvalfälts short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Per-Erik Mogren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 14 minutes, Carl Ersman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glenns Unajted's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Ersman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Ersman in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helge Hammarberg saved Blue Saints from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ersman in the 20th minute of play forced Blue Saints's goalkeeper Helge Hammarberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes, Blue Saints's Casper Hegg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Per-Erik Mogren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blue Saints reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ersman in the 26th minute of play forced Blue Saints's goalkeeper Helge Hammarberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Andréas Kvalfält had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Erik Mogren. Glenns Unajted's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andréas Kvalfält was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Blue Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Ersman came free, but Helge Hammarberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Glenns Unajted got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Torsberg. Carl Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Hammarberg having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Blue Saints got a freekick which was hit by Jens Ryberg. 46 minutes into the match, Carl Ersman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helge Hammarberg. Blue Saints's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Ersman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Elliot Ekström made the kick off in the second half. Carl Ersman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Helge Hammarberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 63 minutes, Jan-Olof Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenns Unajted and the Blue Saints players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Glenns Unajted got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Sundström. Carl Ersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Blue Saints getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Klas Rosin hit a great ball. If Elliot Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Ekström got in the 73rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Helge Hammarberg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Carl Ersman in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Helge Hammarberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elliot Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Helge Hammarberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Carl Ersman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th match minute, Blue Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Granqvist to maneuver through the defense. Glenns Unajted were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
