Spectators: 7307 (Terracing: 5481, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommy Wiberg started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Everöds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Ahlén came free, but Jakob Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Billing in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Everöds IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Hallgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Timmy Nordal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Everöds IF's Jakob Johansson didn't even have to move. Kent Haegg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Wiberg in the 14th minute. Kent Haegg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Wiberg in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Stellan Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Everöds IF's zone, Jonny Ahlén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Johansson came out of the goal and Jonny Ahlén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jakob Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Billing in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Everöds IF getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sigvard Nyström hit a great ball. Ingmar Billing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Johansson having to interfere. Tommy Wiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Hannis Pojkar's Kent Haegg got control of the ball when Arne Persson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kent Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Everöds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Billing came free, but Jakob Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingmar Billing was the one to do the kick off. After 64 played minutes Hannis Pojkar got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Rydelius. Kent Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tommy Wiberg came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Everöds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Wiberg couldn't finish the play. Lars-Erik Tunström hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Tommy Wiberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Haegg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Tommy Wiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Haegg having to interfere. Jonny Ahlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jakob Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonny Ahlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Everöds IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Blanck to maneuver through the defense. Hannis Pojkar were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Everöds IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timmy Nordal took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hannis Pojkar's corner Timmy Nordal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jakob Johansson quite easily take care of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
