Älvsbyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björksele the free kick. In the 14th minute Börje Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Hurtig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Sivert Örn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kennet Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennet Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Pettersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Börje Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Björksele's Sivert Örn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Pettersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Sivert Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Leonard Pettersson managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Björksele's Kennet Larsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Älvsbyn getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hjalmar Wallin hit a great ball. Börje Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Harald Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sivert Örn made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Älvsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Wallin. Sivert Örn might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonard Pettersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Örn ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Älvsbyn's Börje Ambjörnsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harald Hurtig. Harald Hurtig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 64 minutes into the game, Kurt Ek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älvsbyn's Jan-Erik Klementsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Björksele. Henry Rosendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Börje Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Älvsbyn's Leonard Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Örn in the 80th minute of play. Björksele's Kennet Larsson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
