After some careless play in the Alunda IFK defense, Petter Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Alströmer. The Alunda IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Alströmer should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Mikael Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Skröder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alunda IFK's Karl-Ove Asklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aleksander Skröder. Aleksander Skröder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Vilhelm Hellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Aleksander Skröder made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Petter Olofsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tibro and the Alunda IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tibro's Petter Olofsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Karl-Ove Asklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilhelm Hellboms short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Aleksander Skröder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vilhelm Hellbom took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksander Skröder. Aleksander Skröder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alunda IFK's Vilhelm Hellbom was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Hellbom was the one to do the kick off. Tibro's Aleksander Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Asklund in the 53rd minute of play. Aleksander Skröder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Hellbom in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Vilhelm Åberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tibro and the Alunda IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilhelm Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Alunda IFK's Karl-Ove Asklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksander Skröder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Alunda IFK's Kent Alströmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Alströmer in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Torbjörn Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Skröder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Åberg in the 80th minute of play forced Alunda IFK's goalkeeper Kent Alströmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Karl-Ove Asklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tibro's Aleksander Skröder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 88th minute of the match Petter Olofsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Petter Olofsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a defensive mix-up in Tibro's zone, Karl-Ove Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Skröder came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alunda IFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
