With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melker Anundsson in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Gerdberg saved Ellös from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörn Ekegren made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Evlinge Stars's Melker Anundsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Gerdberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. If Melker Anundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Evlinge Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Jörn Ekegren scored to the left of an out of position Viktor Öberg, making the score, 8-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Evlinge Stars fully deserved thier win.
