The referee ignored Gunners FC's protests and gave Olov Bredberg a yellow card for diving instead. Olov Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Rolf Billström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lallersteths Praeputium's Rolf Billström got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Arne Åkerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunners FC and the Lallersteths Praeputium players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Lallersteths Praeputium's Rolf Billström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Ove Åberg. Karl-Ove Åberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olov Bredberg was the one to do the kick off. Richard Gunnarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Bredberg in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. Knut Abrahamsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Richard Gunnarsson made a huge save. Gunners FC's Karl-Ove Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Billström in the 86th minute of play. Richard Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Bredberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Richard Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Bredberg in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
